The Peter Win Memorial Scholarship

The Peter Win Memorial Educational Scholarship was set up by the board of the New Zealand Credit & Finance Institute after the death of Peter Win, a long-time supporter of the Institute and practitioner who believed firmly in the advancement of training and education to the young people of New Zealand. Applications from all branches of the NZCFI are received on an annual basis and from those nominations, the NZCFI Board select one person to receive a Training and Education Scholarship to further their career in credit.

It should be noted that the nominee must be under the age of 30 at the time of the nomination.

Nominations close on 1 September 2018.

Proudly sponsored by National Credit Insurance Brokers NZ Limited.

2017 winner of the scholarship was Christopher Nunes, from Lumley Insurance

Credit Professional of the Year Awards

The winner of the 2017 Credit Professional of the Year Award, (Kristen Smith, Senior Credit Controller at Mutual Credit Finance Limited) was announced at the October National Conference, held at the Pullman Hotel in Auckland.

To obtain the prestigious Credit Professional of the Year Award, applicants must first pass through a round of screening and interviews to establish their knowledge and passion for their chosen profession. A panel determines the finalists whose skills and attitude best epitomise industry excellence. And the awards dinner and associated press ensures that both winners and nominees are recognised nationally for their efforts and capabilities.

We will update this site more on the next Award once sponsorship is secured and the timeline for nominations and selection is finalised.
